I find the easiest way to do multilingual keyboards on my computer is just to add in the different keyboard options and toggle between them as necessary. (Works best if you are doing extended work in a different language, rather than trying to type the names of a few players ... but isn't too cumbersome even for the latter).
If you're using Windows, go to the "classic view" control panel and click on "regional and language options," then "languages," and then "details" It should take you straight to the settings tab: under "installed services" click "add" and it will bring up a pretty exhaustive list of languages. Add the "input language" that you want and then tick "keyboard layout/IME" and choose the keyboard language option that you want. You can add quite a number of languages this way.
When you've finished adding them in, you'll see that beneath the "installed services" section of the settings tab is a section entitled "preferences." Click the box marked "language bar" and tick the boxes for "show the language bar on the desktop" and "show additional language bar items in the taskbar."
At least on my computer, that then means that you have a wee button in your taskbar that shows which keyboard setting you're on and - if you simply left click it - gives all the other options. Tick the one you want at any given time, and you're off!
Sorry for all the detail for those who aren't interested, but thought it might help those who are.
PS) The only proble, cqn co,e if you forget to szitch bqck zhen youůre done: (Typed on the French keyboard. But I normally notice before I've gone too far!)
Should also say that unlike Steven and Stircrazy, I'm pretty lazy on this ... so despite the above, don't expect to see accents from me on this board!
Dreadful result for Jamie. He really needed a good run this week to kick start his season. Unless he gets a really soft draw it is hard to see him doing much in a clay court challenger next week.
Some of us were speculating how average Jamie must have been in practice before the Davis Cup tie for Leon Smith to drop him at the last minute, causing embarrassment to Jamie, the LTA and potentially to Leon himself. It was, from the outside in, quite a dramatic thing to decide to do.
I think we now know.
Poor result. I'm sure some of us will now research Jamie's opponent to find something about him which somehow paints a better picture of the defeat........I'm not sure thats going to help.
