Actually Pablo went into Casablanca 250 qualies first up after hus ITF $10k run. He qualified, then won his first round before being destroyed by Kevin Anderson. Then he lost R1 at a CH (forget which). Then he played Barcelona, winning R1, then losing R2 on a 3rd set tiebreak.

Well, he didn't: Coppejans ran out the winner in straight sets (7-6(5) 7-5), but was himself been tamed earlier today by his elder & (presumably) better, Ed's conqueror, Gigounon (3 & 5).
