Peter had a comfortable win on his return. Just 2 seeds lost: Samuel Taylor, who had a tough draw against one of the French musketeers (Denolly) whilst Joel Cannell upset the Polish tenth seed. Top 1999 Max Stewart went down in a close three setter against another of the strong French boys.

Dutch 4th seed Tallon Griekspoor was the only top 8 seed to fall in round 2 (to another of the French foreign legion) while Daniel Bennett upset Malta semifinalist and 13th seed Mason Recci

I know, that's what I mean. I wonder if that's all of them or if there are more to come.

I've seen an interview with Tallon on a Dutch site where he refers to his 2 brothers both playing tennis, and no mention of any other siblings, so it does look like there are no others on the conveyor belt.

Josh Sapwell had a convincing win over one of the French boys to ensure that there will be no repeat of last week's all-French final

QF

(1) Peter Ashley v (9) Bjorn Thomson (IRL)

(3) Joshua Sapwell v (6) Joshua Paris

Corentin Denolly (FRA) v Jules Okala (FRA)

(7) Isaac Stoute v (2) Julian Cash

That's one G4 title in each of the last 3 years for Josh - hopefully now that he's getting older, he'll start winning the odd title at the higher levels too.
