No such (or at any rate fewer - they couldn't quite hang on to the first break, but by no means straightforward...) problems in the second set:

Two surprises, one good and one bad:

L32: David Rice WR 716 lost to (Q) Artem Baradach (BLR) WR 1765 (CH 1456 in 2007) by 5 & 3 bleh (after beating him 4 & 4 last week)
L32: (Q) Sean Thornley WR 1023 beat Milan Pokrajac (CAN) WR 590 (CH 411 in 2008) by 5 & 1 biggrin

L16: (1) Alex Bogdanovic WR 296 v (WC) Kevin King (USA) WR 913 (= CH)
L16: (Q) Sean Thornley WR 1023 v (2) Luke Saville (AUS) WR 347 (CH 336 this month)

King reached a Futures semi (after qualifying) last month but lost to Kyle in January. Saville was world junior no. 1 early last year after winning the boys' singles at Wimbledon 2011, when he beat Liam in the Final, and AO 2012.

The OoP has Boggo then Sean 1st & 2nd on the same court with the Dave & Sean's doubles SF 4th on that same court but says severe weather is expected so the singles matches may be cancelled early in the day and the doubles played indoors.

cant see any scores coming up so maybe the weather so maybe play has been put on hold for the time being.

Probably safe to say that if the singles have been cancelled for the day then whatever happens tomorrow Alex is unlikely to be in qualifying for the Savannah challenger.

as thought no singles today, so potential for 2 matches tomorrow. No dubs on the schedule.

There is a possibly Alex may play two people called King tomorrow. what are the chances of that. got to be some puns in there :)
