The last I heard, Nole had seriously injured his ankle at DC, so I assumed Andy was going to be the top seed. This seems like a remarkably quick recovery.

Good test the way I'm looking at it ! Altough saying that he has to reach the quarters to hang onto #2 (I think)
He needs to reach the quarters to stay number 2 after Monte Carlo but he actually he needs to reach the Semis or he drops back to 3 a week later when his Barcelona points come off.
Nasty, nasty, nasty. Then again, he sometimes seems to do better when he has really wretched draws and worse when he has easier-looking ones (said hopefully)
Hi! I'm new to this forum. Looking forward to this tourney. The draw doesn't look great on paper, lets see how he plays against Haase first though. I think he'll do okay.

You trust rightly! I liked Henman but not in the same class as Andy and nor is Vasselin for that matter, still, a good tester to kick off the clay season, Vasselin beat Insner this year and put in a good account of himself against DelPo last year at the french, up to 45 in the rankings race and through 3 solid matches already so he's no pushover.
