Terrific win there from Tom. He's certainly building up a very decent resume this year.
What was most impressive was that he was under pressure in almost every one of his service games, regularly 0-30 down, and survived a fair number of BPs too. He could easily have given up on that second set, having been a break of serve down twice, but dug in and kept things close enough to make it stressful for his opponent. With the boot on the other foot, the Belgian will probably be furious with himself that he let this one get away in straight sets.....how many times have we said that about our own players in the past?
Very good shot to reach another SF. Probably at least 50/50 on current form.
Brilliant win for Jack - a career best ranking scalp by some distance (previous best was Oli when he was ranked 516), matches his doubles partner Tom by taking out a player ranked more than 500 places above him and shows the Fed Cup team how to treat Argentine opponents.

Rather different mood music here in Turkey, compared to the generally very average performances in Greece this week.
Mr Pauffley and Mr Farqharson in particular strike me from interviews and demeanor as being from the more introverted grounded, sensible, disciplined "Ed Corrie" school rather than the banter-rich pack dynamic often seen amonst the younger GB men. I like it when these more introverted grafters do well, those probably outside the in-crowd, because it hopefully will rub off in a good way. Very tough one for Neil coming up, but with his 2 colleagues there already through, must be a huge motivation.
