Well done to Mr Bogdanovic. I gather that having been meltingly warm in parts of the US earlier this week (a colleague whose daughter is in Washington DC said it was near 30) it's now freezing cold in the East and Midwest. Not great for tennis players. Feel for Thornley and Rice; getting Bangoura and Quigley in the QFs on hard in the US was not really what they needed ... particularly after having had such a frustrating time with the challenger draws. Hope their next draw is kind - and that Mr Bogdanovic does well in the SFs.
QF: (4) Alex Bogdanovic WR 301 beat Mico Santiago (USA) WR 951 (= CH) by 1 & 2 QF: (Q) David Rice WR 720 lost to (3) Matt Reid (AUS) WR 226 (= CH) by 6-7(4) 6-1 7-6(2)
SF: (4) Alex Bogdanovic WR 301 v (8) Saketh Myneni (IND) WR 434 (CH 342 last Nov)

toug start for alex so far. a break down 4-1* only won 1 point against serve and that was a DF on the 1st point of the match so it doesnt really count.
