Back on court and the fighting spirit continues.

Broken to go 5-6* down in the second set, the guys break straight back.

Into a 2nd set tiebreak we go.

One tiebreak down - one to go.

The guys take the 2nd set 7-6 and now face an MTB

Delighted for them!   They're rapidly becoming Mackenzie's & Propoggia's nemesis! biggrin

great to end the trip on a high, im off to get a scan on my foot as i have done something to it at the start of the week. either broken a bone in my foot or done something really bad to the tendon under the arch of my foot, either way its not in good shape but happy that adrenaline and will to win came through today.
two in a row is not easy, top stuff!!!!
good luck to josh tomorrow, see what he can do.

Well done to both of you and I hope there turns out to be nothing too serious wrong with your foot.

The ITF have put up an article about the doubles win http://www.itftennis.com/procircuit/news/articles/doubles-win-for-brits-in-vietnam.aspx , which also means there's a pic of Josh at the top of the ITF Pro Circuit home page.

SF: (Q) Josh Ward-Hibbert WR 1024 lost to (2) Lucas Pouille (FRA) WR 372 : 3-6 4-6

Looks like a very tight match despite the scoreline. Both players created 2 break points each. Pouille converted them both while Josh didn't manage to convert either.

But all in all, a very good week for Josh.
