Win or lose today, how beautifully is Tommy Haas playing? Variety, all court action, killer slices, great winners. Joyous!

Started beautifully but has now totally fallen to pieces. One set all

Looks that way. Now being battered. But that first set was so good to watch; not bad at almost 35!

So Ferrer makes the final. At least playing Ferrer, you know exactly what you are going to be up against. He only has one way to play - even if he is very good at it. But I shouldn't jump the gun as Gasquet has been playing very well this week as well.

Very strange first set. Started awful, picked things up and played great for a while, threw in a sticker when serving for the set and then made a poor error at the start of the breaker which he never recovered from (mostly because of some great play from Gasquet)

Quite often I find myself disagreeing with your assessment of Andy's performances, but that very concisely & precisely sums up my feelings on the first set too.

Gasquet on fire, very high quality match, seemed to really get his act together after the rant with the umpire, but ultimately Andy should have served the 1st set out.

Really good second set from Murray, great response to losing the first.

I'm not so sure his start was awful. He was 0-3 but that one mainly because of Gasquet's excellence. Andy hit one bad shot and made one wrong decision. After that, Andy was surperb until the tenth game.

Yes Gasquet was superb early on but I think Andy made it rather easy for him to be with some rather nothing play.

Anyway, one blip aside, third set has gone great  *5-2

Well, that was a real Murraycoaster! Nice to see the backhand DTL and the lob back working nicely.

Dicky faded but Andy was impressive, can't see him losing the final, going for a Brit double.

Yes, defeat tomorrow night would be very disappointing. Time for Andy to win his first significant title since the US Open.

Looks like the final will start at 11:30 (16:30 GMT). I had thought that the women's doubles might be played first but according to the TV schedule, shown on the tournament website, CBS will be broadcasting from 11:30 to 14:00 so I have to assume that this is when the men's final will be.

Confirmed that the final will start at 11:30 (16:30 GMT). Women's doubles to follow it.

Great drama, tense and exciting to the last.

Well done Andy, quite the comeback.

Something strange in the Miami air today - David Ferrer's iron constitution (and Andy's) broken down in a 2½ hour 3 setter!?!

Hopefully Laura won't put us through the wringer to quite the same degree...
