Neither Federer or Nadal competing here so a good opportunity for Andy. He has RUP points from last year to defend

Possible opponents include

R3: Dimitrov

R4: Seppi / Janowicz

QF: Tsonga / Cilic

SF: Berdych / Gasquet

F: Djokovic / Ferrer / Del Potro

Very tough draw compared to IW given no Fed and no Nadal. At least avoids Delpo.

Maybe, not the greatest of draws. But I wouldn't say that it's awful, and pretty negotiable ( to the final anyway, and then let's see if and when he gets there...) if Andy is in a fair bit better form here as I hope and anticipate that he will be.

Draw doesn't really worry me. If Andy plays well he will be fine at least till the SFs. If he doesn't play well it doesn't really matter who he gets.

Well, from what I saw on flashscores, that all looked fairly routine for Andy.

An straight forward 6-3 6-1 victory.
