Sounds like a nervy win and not the best quality match but who cares. Vital that she got the win - clearly badly lacking in confidence and probably the difference between today and two weeks ago was playing another out of form opponent instead of an experienced player.

I think that puts Laura 12 points behind Heather (experts will know better than my back of an envelope scribbling) so one more win would take her to GB #1.
Also, I think that Heather is 'safe' inside the top 50 no matter what else happens in Miami.

Time for a lie down in a darkened, and preferably padded, room.
