I am sure Chris was giving his considered opinion based on his knowledge about Heather and her matches and travels this year.

I mean he wouldn't have been taking the piss about a young ( and very good ) British player at a tough time, would he...

I am reminded of that light weight broadcaster, Dan Walker, with his Olympics late night TV show, who was in his element with little asides and witticisms in the first few days when things were apparently not going too well. But then after that first few days singularly failed to catch the mood of the nation and indeed his hardened journalist guests in reporting how all was gping so well in and around the Olympics.

So much pleasure in so many in knocking down. It's a British trait that I don't like.
