"Re the idea of Watson taking a break, she wasn't elaborating, but may just mean a week of not practising. This event alone lasts 2 weeks. Problem at this level is you can spend every waking hour thinking about tennis and how to get better. Sometimes better to take a step away."
As that kind of suggests, how burnt out a player is probably doesn't depend that much on the number of matches played.

Heather gets a MD grandstand match at a Premier Mandatory event, and it's still not streamed. She seems to pick 'em, her final and her QF in Memphis, amongst others similarly unstreamed.
Nevermind, she's made a good start 4-1*

David Law on 5live basically saying Heather simply playing consistent percentage tennis all the way through, good standard throughout. For almost 2 sets Moriya was awful, now Moriya playing superbly......always the challenge with the way Heather plays; the match can often be on the opponent's racquet.

Was that regular 5live or Sportsxtra? Thanks.
I'm sorry Julia - was reading from his twitter feed and assumed he was also commentating. My mistake.

Whenever I have seen Morita before she has got quite down on herself when losing. Trust her to choose today to find some resolve. Still good to hear that Hev hasn't thrown it away, and if she keeps it close there is a good chance Morita will stop firing.
