Well done Laura. I dare say we are seeing the signs of Laura's form picking up.

She plays Cornet [32] (Fra) 4th on court 3. Will be good indicator of where she is at, and after two matches to get a feel for the court I'm backing her to get the win. C'mon Laura!!

3rd actually according to the WTA Livescores app.Presumably will be playing at roughly the same time as she played Giorgi the other night.Go Laura!

I just returned to Laura's match to find she's already served 5 double faults but it's 2 - 1*

 

It's very windy apparently.  Not helpful.

Laura did very well there, winning 5 straight points having initially gotten into trouble at *0-40
So, it's 2-1*

News about Azarenka is not relevant to Laura yet - she needs to adhere to the commonly used sports cliché of 'one match at a time'.
