Didn't know where to put this but just a note for Stirling university (Maia Lumsden's place, amongst others) who took part in the European Universities Games last week:

Tennis - Stirling Men and Women

Stirling women's team finished 4th after been beaten by Bordeaux University in the Bronze medal play off match.

Stirling Men's team finished 6th.

Looking back at the first post from way back in 2013, does anyone know what has happened to Anna Brogan? She doesn't seem to have played anywhere since March. Even if she was taking time out for studies, I would have thought she would have popped back up somewhere by now. Is she still at Bolletieri's? Injured?

Also Joanna Henderson had a very good tennis career at Tennessee but I think is now on a graduate course at a UK university (not 100% sure though) so probably no longer looking at tennis as a career. Anyone know for sure?

Joanna Henderson came from near Aberdeen and I have seen nothing in the local press to suggest she is still playing tennis.

Two others of note are Ali Collins from Dunblane and the highly thought of at one time Alice Keddie both in USA I think

A bit more digging reveals that Joanna Henderson has been playing regularly for the Stirling Uni tennis team since graduating from Tennessee last summer. In fact, I think she might be the player on the far left of the photo CD has just put up. So she could still be taking her tennis seriously. We'll have to see if she plays anything other than uni matches.

As for Alice Keddie, she decided that performance tennis was not for her some time in her mid teens. She has been a regular club player since and currently represents St Andrews Uni in the BUCS league. I don't believe she ever went to US uni.
