Even last weeks $15k SF wasn't exactly smooth, and yet he showed such promise in January.
Same thing happening with James - a decent run at AO qualifying, and a nice run to the final at an Aussie Challenger (although there are suggestions that these Aussie Challengers aren't particularly competitive), but since then almost nothing.
At least both of them have a few points in the bag already, but unless their form turns around, there's a danger that they will both be chasing Josh downwards towards 250 and then 300, rather than fighting each other in a race upto 150 and beyond. I realistically can't see a situation where we have no men outside Andy inside the top 300, given other players' improvements, but its a scenario that is not impossible. Let's avoid those headlines!
Even if one of them could break through, would be great to see. Come on, chaps!
So much for my theory that the Canadian Futures and Challengers are always relatively weak c.f. the US and Europe. Except that I think this draw was relatively weak, the Brits just didn't manage to take advantage for whatever reasons.
