Well done Tom.

Maybe cut the sneering tone, jaggy. Many folk make predictions on here, some we get right, some we get wrong, and most of us are enthusiatic tennis followers, who make no claim to be experts.

Not that I recall that many predictions regarding a likely Liam win, more a decent opportunity.

Another solid win for Tom. With a SF his best week on the professional tour to date.

Close run thing to decide his opponent, Gabb or Corrie.

Jaggy, calm down - everyone tries to be friends here - being right half the time and wrong half the time is sport! We're all experts until were are wrong.....which is often!

Tom F who some experts here thought shouldn't beat petulant Broady one game away from the semi go Tom

Nobody here said anything along those lines.

There wasnt a single comment saying well done Tom it was all about Liam which surprises me given how they are going in opposite directions. So rather thank picking on the negative concentrate on the positive which is what I was getting a hard time for earlier in this closed shop

Superb consistency from Ed.

He isn't exactly steamrolling everyone, indeed some of his wins have been much tighter than I was anticipating, but he gets the job done.

6 semis in a row for Ed - that was his 30th singles match of the year so far ... and he has won 26 of them! (87%)

Ed and Tom have met once before at this level, Ed winning a 3-setter on grass at Frinton in 2011.

Similar to the start of last year?

I remember Ed playing and winning an insane amount of matches in Turkey then the mammoth USA Q draws.

Any way of checking who had played the most matches of any tennis player in a year, short of going through all of them individually?

Dan Evans has just started - lets hope he can pull off victory to guarantee an all British semi final

That win should see Tom F move up to c. 860 in the rankings
