Yes, but I wasn't expecting Janowicz was seriously interested in pursuing doubles, i.e. a bit like Andy, just occasionally playing doubles in such as the longer Masters tournaments, but on a more regular basis will he not be more concerned about pushing forward his singles career ??
I just checked on Janowicz's current doubles ranking. It's WR 136 with a CH of 134 ( though obviously about to get a big boost ).
I think he just served as a useful scratch partner for Huey to get in here using Janowicz's singles ranking. But, as I said, I'm pretty sure Janowicz will still be much more interested in singles.

Almost certainly. I suspect the $60,000 and counting for getting to the final is an extremely useful bit of pocket money for even highly ranked singles players, and in the Masters Events with big prize money on offer in doubles, MTB final sets, and only 3 set matches in the singles, I would imagine its even more tempting to dabble than in the Grand Slams. I'd love to see Andy and Novak pair up in doubles from time to time.....they have tried it before, and I reckon they might be quite good!!!!
Huey and Janowicz are into the final against the Bryans.
Getting Huey's ranking up further can only help the chances of him getting into more big tournaments with his I presume still preferred partner, Mr Inglot.
And it took the Bryans to get the better of the scratch pairing (by 6-3 3-6 [10-6])!
Let's hope Dom is still TCH's preferred partner, though he seems to have fared quite well in Dallas with Booty. At least he's doing what he can to boost his own ranking.

The points that Treat has earned here will give them a combined ranking of mid-60's which will put them on the cusp of entry into the clay masters if they choose to play together. Will be touch and go as it stands.
They are first alternates for direct entry for Miami, I think they will get in on-site.
