Thank goodness it's not an injury that could keep her out for a while. Not that that's much consolation to her at the moment, I'm sure, and I hope the food poisoning isn't bad enough to take too much out of her.

That's the best bit of bad news I've heard in a while ! ( and as folk said, it was always maybe going to be tough for Tara here anyway ). Hope she's back fighting fit asap.

Re post IW fortnight rankings, that will be Bally and Tara both on 291 points, probably about WRs 207 / 208.

A QF win for Anne would take her to 290 points, so she will actually need to reach the final to avoid dropping from GB number 4 to 6 ( assuming no higjer level tournament that she might get into next week ? )

Just one point difference between them in the first set but it didn't go Anne's way. 4-6
Anne had more break points though, and seems no reason to despair just yet.

Both Anne and Bally are down to play a 50K in France in a couple of weeks. I'm not sure if she's playing anywhere prior to that.
