QF: Richard Gabb WR 756 v (WC) Jack Findel-Hawkins UNR QF: (4) Ed Corrie WR 385 v (6) Alex Ward WR 447 QF: Lewis Burton WR 721 v (WC) Tom Farquharson WR 1055 QF: (8) Freddie Nielsen (DEN) WR 491 v Jack Carpenter WR 732
A very good day for the Brits today, if not perhaps all the ones we might have expected!
ITF H2Hs for the QFs:
Jack v Richard 1-0 - a very close 6-7(4) 6-4 7-6(6) marathon in Sheffield FQR a few weeks ago - no ATP points at stake then, 4 (i.e. 6 - 2) tomorrow
Ed v Alex (the two highest-ranked players left) - surprisingly, they have never played each other according to ITF
Lewis v Tom - 2-1 (2-0 in seniors) but pretty close each time and Tom must like it here, having reached his first Futures QF here last autumn
Jack v Freddie - 0-0 - Freddie is of course the only player left who has ever been in the top 200 (or even the top 300!)
Btw Ed is now 18-2 this year and has managed to pick up exactly 50 points in the last two months (could rise to 54 if he wins tomorrow)

GB on a shirt, Davis Cup still gleaming, 79 years of hurt, never stopped us dreaming ... 29/11/2015 that dream came true!
Ed Corrie is involved in a real tough match against the Frenchman ,whilst i'm guessing Richard Gabb has a very solid serve as Goodall struggled to win many points against it and Marcus Willis is yet to get a break point
