Damn. Fitzy goes down 6-4 7-5 despite a fightback in the 2nd set.

I am not one to go too much on statistics but here are a couple to ponder over.

127 : The number of times I have shouted "Come On Fitzy" at my computer screen in the last 2 hours

243 - 1 : The probability of drawing a seed in R1 in 5 consecutive tournaments

Your time will come Fitzy. No need to panic.

Wow, likewise.

Bit of digging. He played at the beginning of this month, losing in the 1st round of a 10k to an unranked opponent. That was his 1st match since September. In fact, he only played RG, Wimbledon, the US Open and Seville since May last year, and he retired in Seville.

His last win (before today) was in Rome last May
