Matthew Short is playing a lad with a great name, but doing rather well - 7-5 4-1* up so far.

Seems ridiculous that you have to win 5 games to get 1pt(or do the rules change with such a big field?)

No, as Kyle Edmund and Ed Corrie would confirm, still the same points. So if start out in QR1 of a 128 qualifying draw, you indeed need to win 5 matches before you get a point.

Good to see you back in the top 500, Fitzy (it's all a bit random whether you are in or out at the moment, but I'm sure you'll take it! ) ... unlucky for just missing out on a seeding then drawing a seed in R1, but let's hope the 7th seed 'bombes' out (*):

FQR: (q3) Matthew Short WR 755 v Artur Completo (POR) WR 1781

New rankings for the main draw:

L32: Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 498 v (7) Antoine Escoffier (FRA) WR 471 (just 1 off his CH)

(*) obscure ice cream reference, sorry, but I know at least one person here will get it wink

Currently *2-0 up in the 2nd as well

Edit
