It's a pity Amanda and Jade are seeded in the same quarter. Kovalets, it seems, was top 400 in 2011 when she was just 16 - I wonder what has happened since.

Amanda Carreras won 6-0 6-3 another girl who is sneaking up the rankings and one many of us probably haven't seen as she plays most of her tennis around Spain.
