very much agree Ian Bates is doing something right to Tara. Consistency is always an issue to her, and it is improving under Ian and jeremy coaching. Great job to the team too.smile

... so now it is impossible to check any H2H for Tara until the ITF draw has been updated, when you can click the H2H link on the draw. I ended up having to use the WTA site instead.

ITF ... making the life of a tennis fan harder every day

If you look at their profile pages, you can see their player number in the address bar. Then goto the H2H page for any pair of players and overtype the player number in the URL :

http://www.itftennis.com/procircuit/players/head-to-head/result.aspx?player1=100088445&player2=100000309

The last bit still stands though.

Great result for Tara yesterday.

It doesn't get any easier though as it looks like she will have to beat the top two seeds to win the title.

Tara beat Pavlovic last week, Pavlovic is 2nd seed this week.

The good news is that her next scheduled tournament is 2 weeks away in a 25K in Mexico, where she has a great chance of being seeded.

* just checked the entry lists and it is a lot stronger than previous 25k's - so may not get seeded.

I'm not sure how this fits into earlier discussions, but it made me smile:

Tara: "Sleeping early getting up early just like old ladies should! #old"

Tara's match is being held up as 16yo qualifier Louise Chirico, who has won from a set down in every MD round this week (), attempts to repeat the trick again, this time against #1 seed, Jarka Gajdosova. 3-6 6-1 *3-3

Well that is pretty incredible.
Chirico did it, and from a break down on the third!

She awaits in the final - must be tired, nust be after all that, so a good chance for the winner of Tara's match. Tip: Let Chirico win the first set in the final

The Ninja's match is up soon then.

Good start for the Ninja with an early break. 2-0 up first set.
