Much better second set from Laura, and the last game shows that in women's tennis if you just get the ball in your opponent is capable of missing any shot. Putintseva had a couple of poor games in that set but still all to play for in the third, I don't think Laura has this won yet by any means.

Laura has battled well to stay in the match.
Her shots are improving but needs to stay focused. As was said before her opponent is a fighter.

More unforced errors and the score is that she is losing 2 - 4 in the third set.

This 3rd set has been an utter nightmare - unforced error after unforced error.

4-6 6-2 2-5* Putintseva serving for the match.

You have to give ALL the GB girls their due. They certainly know how to make us all suffer. I thought last night with Jo and Hev was bad enough but this is worse. Now where are those blood pressure tablets.
