RE: Week 8 - Portugal F1 ($10,000) - Vale do Lobo (Hard)

thanks for that stat indiana!!
Im not going week to week, i dont want that pressure when i play, i just want to make more than 67 points in 2013.
im playing here because its close to soto correct and also its outside. Indoors tennis is a bit false in my opinion, i want to develop my game and the best thing for me is to play outside.
You can get away with alot indoors because its all so quick.
You have to construct the points outside alot more.

Im staying in an apartment which is between all the venues about half an hour to 40 mins from the venue at the moment. i say apartment, its an unreal villa with its own pool. Group of the british guys and some others are here. Its has a good vibe.

The conditions here so slow, heavy balls and slow courts, so everyone is having 10-20 shot ralleys and having to hit 2 or 3 more shots every time.

the referee here is an absolute joker,. His schedule times for qualifying were laughable.
930am start
followed by for second round
3rd round not before 11
followed by
nd 1230
followed by
not before 2. and so on.

he called the day at 11am when it rained....

Im first on tomorrow and last on for doubles... he just looked at me and laughed when i checked out the schedule.

i only have wifi at the villa so will tweet my result when i get back, might be a long day tomorrow so will be in the evening time.
Given he has been posting the order of play and draws at 11pm the night before, im sure i will be the first way u all find out the results.

Feeling good for tomrrow, see what happens.

Fitzy has just tweeted that he lost 7-6 6-2

Lost 76 62. Seriously bad tie break record for the year so far. Must be 1 from 10. good level but not getting it done again.

Hope he picks himself up and wins his R1 doubles (by 2 tie-breaks ....)
;)

It must be gutting for Fitzy all these tiebreaks going astray. However, lots of tiebreaks means he isn't far off, so if he does start managing to win a few (with the resulting confidence boost that would give), his season could yet turn around quite fast.

Oh dear. Fitzy lost his doubles as well as another tiebreak goes west !!

Just finished doubles. Lost 76 61. Another breaker loss. Incredible. Seriously long day.

I really feel for him right now.  He is obviously playing well but the frustration just jumps off the page every time he tweets.

Hang in their Fitzy.  It will happen for you soon.
