I remember chatting to Anna about her injury situation back in 2011, when she was unsure of a return date, so stoked to see her really start to deliver on her comeback.

Sabrina is 0-4* down in the 1st set.

Anna will play top 50 junior (Q) Rebecca Peterson (SWE) UNR, who will be ranked next Monday after beating Danielle Konotoptseva 2 & 1 in the QFs last week, having also taken EWS to 7-5 in the 3rd in Stockholm in October.

Amazing stuff, the lady has class & quality.
Hope she has enough energy left to build on this, but if not, the signs are surely there that she is going to make steady progress upwards again, at worst.

Hopefully, though this wouldn't be the first Amy match where one player (sometimes her, sometimes her opponent) has come back from the virtually dead.

Fantastic from Anna Smith was a good prospect before her injury. She used to play in Sweden quite a lot I think her Mum is Swedish?
