I was there yesterday and today as my son was playing the junior event. Josh took the final pretty easily today back on the grass (after yesterday was moved indoors)
Anna Fitzpatrick beat Aimee Gibson in the Ladies.
Bit my son most enjoyed watching was when Harry Meehan was so annoyed (against Keelan Oakley) he kicked his racquet so high up in the air it hit the lighting rig in the indoor bubble!! He did at least get a warning but not the best example to the kids watching.

Having watched a not inconsiderable amount of Futures level matches in the last few years I am afraid to say that all too many players have a tendency to behave in a way that sets a less than stellar example to young kids.
Congratulations to Bloomers for picking up the Tier2 title in Cambridge, beating Adam Thorton-Brown in the final. It looks like a MTB was used instead of a 3rd set yet 3 sets were used in earler rounds????
Final:
Richard Bloomfield d. Adam Thorton-Brown 3-6 6-2 1-0(5)

Hear, hear. Congrats to him (might possibly have been poor weather hence the MTB ? Don't know otherwise).
And congrats to Georgia Craven who beat Dasha 6-4 6-1. Georgia has made the final in most of the Tour events recently, and won a couple. She's off to uni in a couple of weeks so good luck to her.
There's lots of our best youngsters playing too, especially in the women's field - Beth Askew, Harriet Dart, Freya Christie, as well as a couple who played at the recent 25ks.
Great fields overall - I'd definitely try and go along if I lived anywhere near to Nottingham.

Neil Pauffley won last weeks Tier 1 event in Wrexham, help him return to form for this week in Germany?
This week there's another Tier 1 event in Nottingham with James Marsalek, Bloomers and George Coupland amongst others (Naomi Broady heads the ladies field)
Just a quick congratulations to Barry Fulcher, age 33 (!) who won the British Tour event at Norwich this week, not dropping a set, and beating Keelan Oakley in the final 7-5 6-1
The Tour event next week at Loughborough has: Neil Pauffley, Bloomers, Naomi Broady and Anna Fitzy (amongst others) - not a bad level for a tour event !
Neil and Bloomers are neck and neck at the top of the leader board with just this one event to go. Theres both a £750 winners check at Loughborough this week as a Tier 1 event and a further £1,000 at stake for the leader board winner.
