Yes. Good to see Anna continuing to build up her game again and Danielle progressing. Certainly looking much better here in Sweden than it did after Monday.

AND the GB top 25 table can be tidied up a bit. On Monday week we really will have 25 players with more than the minimum 3 ranking points, so won't need them as equal 25th. Just with their 4 points so far here, Danielle will "surge" up to GB no 21 and Anna will be a reentry as GB no 23.

QF: (Q) Anna SMITH (GBR) UNR lost to (WC) Malin ULVEFELDT (SWE) UNR 4-6 6-4 1-6

A shame for Anna, but good progression in her first overseas outing since returning to the tour. Still finding her feet again, but the signs of her quality already seem evident.
Hope both Anna & Danielle can continue to nurture their green shoots of progress.

Just Tara (singles & doubles) left then for the girls this week - last week looking like a blip rather than the hoped for trend (based on the rigourous survey of one data point).
