Message for Tara: "the match has started already....."

I was expecting this match to be close, but 5-0 down doesn't indicate anything of the sort.

Don't know enough about Kovinic to assess if Tara is having a bad day or she is up against some one on the up. Tara has had a good run and 25K challengers are about her level now as she is too good for most 10k's.

Maybe just how the match has gone and her opponent maybe been playing lights out tennis early on.

And people can just have good and bad days for no obvious reasons, much as one might want to find reason / blame.

 Maybe, Indy, maybe.

I'm sure Sara Errani wishes it were unheard of.

Missed opportnity for Tara for some big points, and to begin building some real insulation against potentially a big rankings fall when the mass block of points she has concentrated from the 50K+ run in Kazan last year finally come off.

But, generally i find it almost impossible to criticise Tara - though there is much to obviously improve, and that frustrates, and potential unrealised usw. - simply because she seems so blissfully happy in what she does, the life tennis provides her, even in the level she is at. If i could ensure that job, and general, satisfaction for those I care about, then I would be rich indeed - sorry to get all flowery.

2 of Tara's 'besties' now follow her onto court, and Lisa at least gets on the board straight away!

 I like that perspective

Maybe Tara became quite aware after 2 or 3 games that she hadn't won two points in a row and that started effecting her in trying to win two points in a row or maybe you've now got me overanalysing things LOL.

Just needs Ratty to see this and we could have all sorts of stuff regarding order and chaos !

Solid start from Lisa 3-2 with serve.

Sorry to disappoint, but my only explanation is: "Sh*t happens".

Ratty in "cheered me up and made me laugh shocker!"

Very funny. And I'm cold while Tara is in sunny California, so her life could be worse!!!

Ha Ha, that was quick and actually basically the view I imagined you'ed have.

I was basically thinking that you'ed most probably express the view that folk look for too much order and reason for events within some more random chaotic events such as some tennis matches.

I believe you basically just did in slightly shorter form !

Disappointing result, though nothing really surprises me with Tara. Her game reminds me of the following poem:

There was a little girl

Who had a little curl

Right in the middle of her forehead.

And when she was good

She was very, very good

But when she was bad

She was horrid!

Not the curl bit, but the very good/horrid bit obviously. Though to be fair her game has got more consistent recently if she has an off day she can easily go 9 games without winning two points in a row.
