Week 6 - ITF ($25K) - Launceston, Australia Hard

I see Nik still playing singles.  She seemed to be revaluating her future last autumn, certainly as far as playing singles was concerned.  All the best to her.

not so easy in set two! down 2-5*

Ho hum blackout in New Orleans... meanwhile Em gets it back to 4-5*

Em saves 2 set points and levels it at *5-5. (The power is still out at the Superbowl, - they're just waiting for Em to win before starting again wink)

broken again hmm probably needs to get this done in two somehow 5-6*

em takes it to a TB with another break.

from 2-2 tp- 6-2 to 6-5 and then it disappeared, so I think EWS must of won it 6-0 7-6(5)

Nice comeback in the 2nd set there.

And almost exactly to the second Em closes it out, the Superbowl starts again in New Orleans smile

˝ time in the Superbowl, and EWSs latest match is a far better entertainment prospect than Beyonces latest gyrations.
Good stuff so far

L32: (Q) Emily Webley-Smith WR 468 v Akiko Omae (JPN) WR 278 (CH 222 last Apr)

Not a bad draw, really. Omae is on a 4-match losing streak since last October.
