It's a good job Dave is keeping himself occupied by playing singles qualies here because otherwise it would have been a wasted trip:

Sean: "Frustrating times! 1 out of Bergamo. Already hate this new challenger schedule and its only our first entry!"

The level isn't all that different yet. Marcora and Fischer have featured in 2 or 3 British futures events so far this year and Sinicropi doesn't look like a world beater from his stats.

The trip was clearly made with doubles rather than singles in mind as well. But hopefully Dr No can capitalise and qualify into a higher level.

Match is live on bet365. I say live but the court colour makes it nigh on impossible to see the ball.

Rice currently serving 3-5 down

FQR: Dave Rice WR 733 lost to (q3) Martin Fischer (AUT) WR 319 by 4 & 4

The same scoreline as their first meeting back in 2009 but 8 games better than their last meeting in October!
