MD every time - after all, it's not like he's been lucky in the US. He seems to start to run out of steam after about 5 or 6 matches (who wouldn't at 18?), but starts well, so I'd always take my chances in the MD!!

Kyle now upto 2nd Alt for MD in Murcia, but today is the cut-off day.

Assuming 4 WCs, 2 SEs and 8 Q places, there's just 1 place left in the MD for someone in the qualifying lists.........which would mean Kyle just misses out and is #1 seed in qualifying!!!!!! Unless there is a very very late withdrawal during the day.

Alternatively, my maths is wrong and he sneaks in, but don;t think so

17 out of the top 20 players in the world in the field so it goes without saying getting a win here will be tough.

Looks like Kyle has made it directly into the MD.

So in fact, he didn't even make it to the court and it was an Alternate that got beat.  I have to say, I had my suspicions given the number of UEs.  Trouble is that at this level, a face is a face is a face to me.  And the OoP posted in the clubhouse said QWC WR179.
