Does this result take Jo above Anne K? Not sure how many points she picks up here...............30?

If you're asking these questions, I guess you're yet to discover this excellent, and it would seem underutilised resource. http://www.freewebs.com/britishtennis/gbtop25f/currentf.htm

That table and the men's equivalent are absolutely superb weekly resources and indeed historical records

I've been all over for a while now.  Where does it state the points won?  I am sure it is in plain sight but I'll be darned if I can find it!

By the way the calculation is wrong for Jo ! It's adding in that earlier one point, which is a non counter. So, she is only up a net 24 points to 485 points ( with 30 replacing her current 16th counter of 6 points ).

Sorry, couldn't resist it ! I am aware that that is liable to happen when there are points from more than one tournament, and is very minor issue that would have been readily sorted.

The table perfectly showed Jo winning 30 points this week and moving ahead of Anne in the rankings.

These rare Brits with a best non-counter of more than 1 point are a right pain. wink

Pretend you're French for a week. i imagine their charts would be a nightmare - men & women

True, blob, though maybe a nightmare it would be nice to have!

Anyway, Jo has moved up 5 to a new career high 142, three places ahead of Anne.
