I've been all over for a while now. Where does it state the points won? I am sure it is in plain sight but I'll be darned if I can find it!
Under "tw" in the "NEW POINTS CALCULATION" section (where there's also a link to the WTA points by tournament type table) or under nw if it's a 25K or below where the points don't get added until the following week. Just to the right of that, it shows the new points total and a rankings estimate.
If you're accessing it on a small screen, I realise it can be confusing - it's never going to be 'mobile friendly' with that much info on it, but hopefully fine on desktops and tablets. Anyway, if in doubt, just ask
Thanks SMC and Indiana for the kind comments. It'll be embarrassing now if I've got the calculation wrong but I don't think I have, and if I had, I'm sure I'd have got a pm about it by now from those who do an invaluable job of spotting any errors before they get too embarrassing, for which I am always grateful, even if my initial reaction to seeing there's a pm from Indiana is usually "Oh ****, what have I got wrong now?!"

Doh! I really should have spotted that the 1 point in the lw column would throw the calculation. I'd have spotted it when I added the points to the best 16 table, but even so. These rare Brits with a best non-counter of more than 1 point are a right pain.
In reality, of course, it would be nice to have more of them ... and that might even finally prompt me to try (and probably fail) to rejig the formula to cope with these 2 sets of points going on/one off/17th best > 1 cases (and all the other complications that arise in cases like this and during slams) automatically.
