A nice start for Hev, Babos had alot of game points/break point opportunities so scoreline could have been closer. I think Timea has been struggling with alot of niggly injuries over the last several months, certainly alot of her body parts were heavily strapped when I saw her at Edgbaston last year.
Sevastova will be tougher but Hev should still come through that.
Rain all day means that all matches have now been cancelled.
Owing to the backlog of matches they are now forced into an early kickoff tomorrow which sadly means Hev who is third on will probably start before 6am our time, dubs later.
First match on is resuming in the third set too, so little chance of Heather's match starting at a nice time. And I was thinking the Australian Open marked the end of WTA tennis at unsociable hours.
Daniela Hantuchova was obviously concious of how far behind the tournament schedule is and kindly wrapped up the deciding set in 20 minutes so Hev should be on soon.
