Good work from James there fighting back from 0-30 to hold. Been some frequent and competent net approaches and play from James in the second half of this match. 1-6 6-3 5-3*
Can't explain the woeful first set, but after he broke in the second, he picked up, and got better pretty much consistently all the way to the end. Well done James. Time for me to hit the road to dream land.
Rain stopped play in Australia before James could take the court, and it appears to be a washout now.
The order of play is out for Thursday with James first up at 10am local (11pm UK?), with his QF match to follow in the afternoon, should he win through. Likely to be third seed John Millman.
