Tough loss for Fitzy but he is obviously playing well. And Marcus is just on a roll right now.
Here is a question for all - What do you think are the chances of having 20 players inside the top 500 by the end of the season. There are a few outside that rank right now that seem to be having a strong start to the season - Marcus, George and Kyle to name just 3. There are currently 12 in there.
Very good shout and very possible in my opinion
All players ranked in the 500's (except Philips of course) all should be in there - presuming Cox and Slabba play enough tornys this year so thats 6 players
Then the likes of Willis, Morgan and potentially Burton, Broady
Philips is already outside the top 500 and therefore not in the current 12. Others that are outside and with a chance of "breaking the 500 barrier" are Fitzy, Ed Corrie, Tom Burn, Dan Cox (if he gets fit) and I am sure there are a few others that could surprise us as well - Ashley Hewitt ???
It will be interesting to see how the season pans out.
I was talking about the 6 players ranked in the 500s as in between 500-600
Oops. It would help if I learned English Just re-read your comment and it should have been obvious.
Was following that last set pretty closely. Seemed strong from Ward to come from 0-40 down in second game of the third to hold and then although was back to the wall stuff, didn't get troubled until 12th game with the MPs. Big stuff at the right time it would appear.
Also, easy to follow the games via BET365 which you guys have pointed out, do you guys find that some of the odds are wayward?
These top 4 in the last 16 draw are about the 4 players I'd most like to see pick up a hatful of points but two will just get the one point.
I can't make up my mind who will reach the SFs from that little section. I'd say Fitzy kooks the outsider.
Good effort by Fitzy to disprove my thoughts. Still hard to predict between Alex and Marcus in the QF. Marcus on a bit of a roll, but I have real hopes that this could be bit of a breakthrough year for Alex.
