L16: (2) Dan Evans WR 297 beat Kevin Griekspoor (NED) WR 703 by 2 & 4

All-GB QFs in the bottom half:

QF: (WC) George Morgan WR 851 v (Q) Tom Farquharson WR 1231
QF : (2) Dan Evans WR 297 v Ed Corrie WR 529 - H2H 2-1

I fear Harrison will spoil the all-GB party in the top half, but we are now sure of at least 7/8!

3rd set and it's going with serve between Fitzy and Willis.
5-5 but in that last service game Fitzy was 30-0* against the Willis serve before Marcus held.

Fitzy has just held to 15 so he's just ahead 7'6, 4'6, 6'5, Willis to serve to stay in the match.

7 wins a row for Marcus, but a really good effort from Fitzy:

L16: (WC) Marcus Willis WR 964 beat Andrew Fitzpatrick WR 509 by 6-7(4) 6-4 7-6(5)

Marcus plays the winner of Alex v Neil, which has just started.

Tough loss for Fitzy but he is obviously playing well. And Marcus is just on a roll right now.

Here is a question for all - What do you think are the chances of having 20 players inside the top 500 by the end of the season. There are a few outside that rank right now that seem to be having a strong start to the season - Marcus, George and Kyle to name just 3. There are currently 12 in there.

Very good shout and very possible in my opinion

All players ranked in the 500's (except Philips of course) all should be in there - presuming Cox and Slabba play enough tornys this year so thats 6 players

Then the likes of Willis, Morgan and potentially Burton, Broady

Philips is already outside the top 500 and therefore not in the current 12.  Others that are outside and with a chance of "breaking the 500 barrier" are Fitzy, Ed Corrie, Tom Burn, Dan Cox (if he gets fit) and I am sure there are a few others that could surprise us as well - Ashley Hewitt ???

It will be interesting to see how the season pans out.

I was talking about the 6 players ranked in the 500s as in between 500-600
