Quite a detailed report on the Final from a Tara fan on TennisAlternative:

Excellent start to her year for Tara. She's a notoriously slow starter usually isn't she?
She might repeat the feat next week in Preston.

Be interesting to see if Tara and Sam Murray play each other there.

Well Done Tara. Great start to the year. If she can stay healthy she should be top 200 soon. Should be targeting RG qualies.

Amazing! I wonder whether starting at her CH has revigorated her hunger to win. This year could certainly be a big one for her, if she has worked on her fitness her ballstriking ability is top 150 at least, so lets start climbing

Great win. Stress free in 2 sets. She's obviously got some real talent - seems to a lot of background noise about her needing to dedictae herself more to training and fitness. Could do worse than copy Heather, who appears to do all the right things. Well done Tara!

Tara never seemed to quite achieve her potential but maybe this year will be different. She has won 4 $10Ks but never anything higher, despite getting to $25K SFs and even a $50K final. A title at $25K or higher early this year might give her career the boost it needs to send her into the top 200 and on the way to top 100. After the Preston $10 K she is off to USA for a $25K, a good time to step up.
