Gutted only Marray through to second round.

Yes, no stream. Legends doubles clearly much more important than this.

They are playing Haase/Sijsling btw.

Marray/Sa up first, at midnight, on court 13. I think that means no stream

Led *4-3 in the breaker but lost it 7-5

There ends British interest in the doubles.

Had chances, 0/4 BP to their opponents 1/3.
Bit of a damp squib in the GB doubles department all round this time.

Tragic from the doubles this year.

Yes a bit disappointed with the doub results, but partners have changed a bit and hopefully they will settle down in the next month or so, surely Colin and Jonny will pair up for the forseeable future?

A bit surprised Colin and Jonny didn't enter the mixed

Probably because neither of them felt comfortable walking on court in drag wink

Sorry, couldn't resist. ashamed As for what you really meant, Colin did enter (with Flipkens) but didn't make the cut.

As Haase/Sisling move through the field into the semifinals (with almost identical scorelines in every match), do hope that Marray/Sa feel slightly less gutted by their loss.

GB may not have had much joy in the doubles at the AO but Jonny Marray's R1 win (combined with others around him dropping points) has seen him rise 3 places to 15, making him GB's first ATP top 15 doubles player since Neil Broad on 4 Feb 1991.
