I don't think I've seen Marcus play since he was doing well in juniors and he looks quite different from how I remember him.

I can (almost) guarantee that I was the first person on this board apart from his Mum to watch Marcus play - I saw him at the Solihull Under 12s in 2001, when he was 10. And - you'd better believe it - I could see at once that there was that spark of talent which would lead inexorably to a pro tour title!!!
