Pervak very rattled, Hev breaks at the start of the 3rd
... and holds to love

Talking of the abbreviation for Pervak - on 5 Live, Neil Harman starts musing about how difficult it must be to undress Hev with all those straps on her dress ... Overend tries to get him to stop digging but I don't think he's realised what he's saying! LOL

I thought they were 'too much' and potentially off putting to Laura.
I'm inclined to disagree with you on this based on how much Laura said she enjoyed the atmosphere at Wimbledon during the Olympics. She mentioned that hearing her name being chanted on centre court was one of her most memorable moments so on that basis I would assume she quite enjoys the crowd support.
I also think, on a small court, the crowd is gpoing to be very partisan in Heather's favour tonight.
The betting odds are certainly interesting with Laura now shorter odds to beat the world no. 8 that Heather is to beat the world no. 82. Whilst Pervak is in great form and Kvitova is struggling, I would personally still give Heather sightly more chance of progressing (assuming she is fuly fit).
What I would say for both Heather and Laura is that they have both already had a decent Australian Open whatever happens and one more win makes it a really good one.
Finally, it will be the first time Heather has been in a televised match for quite a while - perhaps Sharapova in Tokyo and certainly before she won in Osaka
