Li is serving for the first set at 5'3.
Neither held serve to begin with. At 3-2 Li broke Vika again to lead 4-2 and then both held for 5-3.

R5L suggesting that there is an Australia Day fireworks display scheduled in 25 minutes, and the match will be suspended for it if it is still underway.

How stupid am I being to have to ask the question as to whether this is true? Surely they're kidding, but all flu-ed up, I couldn't really decide. Someone please confirm that CAN'T be true, surely?

Not a huge surprise, since it had been worked out already, but confirmation now that Hev has made it into the top 40 and Laura is also up 10 at a new career high 43

So Laura now has a higher ranking than any British woman has held for several years (since Jo Durie?) and yet is still British No. 2 - a good sign of progress.

There is of course the BBC HD channel which you could have watched to avoid Virginia and get the best quality pictures.
