I was able to listen to the start (dreadful) and the last 4 games (not dreadful!) thanks to 5livesports extra. If anyone gets wind of a link to a video recording please put it here. Many thanks
Apart from everything else, this should mean that anyone but the very top players is going to be at least somewhat worried going into a match with Ms Robson. That alone should be helpful to her future career.

Totally. With Heather, I feel that she still can't beat top 10 players, but with Robbo, I only think the likes of Serena can beat her.

Hi Julia, not one of the match, but the on court interview.

British Eurosport 2 are listed as showing 'highlights' from 8.15, so will probably show most of the match. If you don't have that channel or Eurosport Player then google 'British Eurosport 2 live stream'.
Just looking at the draw the winner of Laura's match faces either Jovanovski WR 56 and Date-Krumm WR 100 for a place in the QFs...
Either one would be a very appealing 4th round match, but a tough match against Sloane Stephens to get through first.
A random stat: the ages of the 4 players left in this quarter of the draw sum to exactly 100, with Date-Krumm contributing 42 to that total (and she is at least double the age of all the others).
If Laura isn't too tired after tonights match, the intensity of a 3 hour battle might be just what she needed to find some form. She certainly will be feeling match tough which will help as she played the big points badly against Stephens last week.

Hi Julia, not one of the match, but the on court interview.
It was a strange match. It seemed as if both players were so worried about each others hitting power that they preferred to try and hit winners with every shot. For two and a half sets the average rally length was 2.6 shots, with what must have been close to a record number of DFs for a match at this level and high levels of unforced errors.
From 4-4 in the final set they both settled down and Laura in particular seemed to be adopting Heather's philosophy "you might win this but I am certainly not going to lose it" and we got a number of rallies with Laura coming out on top. Laura gave up just missing the line with her first serves and switched to consistently good 1st serves, rather than trying for an ace with every 1st serve.
The huge difference in this match over the younger Laura was that she did not allow herself to get upset and despite the errors seemed to be enjoying herself far more than Kvitova who always looked as if she was about to burst into tears. Both Heather and Laura look as if they are playing significantly above their present rankings.
Wowza! What great news to come home to! Laura obviously plays better if I'm not watching
You should really watch the match haha
But yeah great on Laura to stay in it and showed some real mental strength considering the quality of the match was poor and when serving for the match the first time, she kind of bottled it ( nervous which is understandable). You would say the draw has opened up for Laura but Sloane is on fire atm, so I'm actually expecting that match to be more of a challenge than today's
