Injury update:

Hev practised OK, so looks like she'll definitely play but not sure what % fit she is.

Laura after a bit of sleuthing has a small problem with her right ankle, it was bandaged during her match against Sloane and it was protected during her practice today, think it may have been picked up in Florida and not sure if it is impacting her performance at the moment.

Frustrating that both girls have picked up injuries at such an early stage of the season, and just before a grand slam.

They are both practising though so I am hopeful that neither is too serious.

Kvitova or Schiavone awaiting Laura/Oudin then Sloane Stephens, then Petrova/Safarova then Serena. So best she could do is qf. 

Heather would have Barthel/Pervak then Ag Radwanska so 3rd round is best she could hope for.

Could have been worse, could have been a lot better.

Jo looked in trouble in that last game, but holds - tiebreak time! (and after a 3-setter for Jo yesterday as well, this match will have run for about 3 hours in the searing heat by the time it's over - she must be fit!)

Edit: Doh! No tiebreak, of course - it's late! ashamed
