OK. I am looking for enlightenment from those more intelligent than me (and hopefully I am not jumping the gun)
If Kyle wins again tomorrow in the 2nd round, taking him in the QF on Friday, does this mean he will get a Special Exempt entry into the MD next week, as I notice this will be another 4 round qualifying starting on Friday ?

Yes, as long as there aren't 2 higher ranked players in the same situation.
Yes, he was the 2nd seed in 2011, beating Zivkovic then losing to lucky loser Sajous in 3 sets. There must have been something in the air that week because none of the 8 seeds reached the QFs. Sajous went on to reach the Final, where he lost to Gregorc, who in turn had beaten Dan Smethurst in the semis. Last year, Morgan Phillips and Ed Corrie both went out in R1.

Firstly well done Kyle. Everything crossed for today. I'm quietly confident - it would be a very good win. Still 5 players left in the L16 who are ranked above Kyle and entered into next weeks tournament, but not yet into the MD by right. A couple of additional MD withdrawals and 2/3 losses would help!
Look out for Quintero, Hernandez, Turini, Burzi, Dutra da Silva.
So if Kyle wins, and unfortunately there are still 2 or more higher ranked players from the above list still in, and without an automatic MD place next week, does that mean he has to sit out the tournament altogether?
how far apart are the events? perhaps he could do some match day travelling! i know it's hardly ideal, but it has been done before, i remember occasions when both Boggo and Tsonga have done it.

I was just wondering how you know so much about Boggo. Are you aprt of his entourage? Or just a super keen follower? If only we had the insight on all players that you seem to have for Boggo!
