just found some odds on kyle tonight (hopefully will be streamed), and im staggered to find kyle is 4/11 on to win, clearly the bookies fancy his chances, so did i... but still thought it was a fairly close match to call, and didnt expect kyle to be favourite
so busy at work i forgot about this. alex got broken to go 3-5 down after a ridiculously long game. think he is feeling a little rusty going into this. don't think he got as much practice in over the winter as he would have liked.

i would like to say he is just dragging it out for the practice, but it is more likey a result of rustiness in his 1st match back, vs a guy who is in his 5th competitive (even if some of the Q ones weren't!!) match of the week.

Not quite as straightforward as it might have been, but he survived being a break down in the 2nd set and a mini-break down in the tie-break to win in straight sets which isn't bad for his first match of the year against a player who has had the chance to play himself in a bit.

you can follow the match on paddy power, kyle got pulled back to 4-4, but has just broke to take the set 6-4, and take his ninth consecutive set to start the season, comon!
