hmm not the results we were looking for, good stuff from kyle thou, i like the section of the draw he's in too, hopefully he can do some damage this week, and fingers crossed can get a SE spot for next week. No brits in action tomoro, so will have to win two rounds to achieve it

Looks like a nice start for Alex, LL then a WC or Q in the 2nd round. hopefully he can negotiate those! in way i hope he faces the no2 seed in the QF's. getting matches vs better qualtiy opponents will probably serve him well for the immeadiae future. perhaps force him to raise his game etc.

Just switching to today's new rankings and adding in Boggo's match:

L32: (5) Alex Bogdanovic WR 327 v (LL) Romain Arneodo (FRA) WR 728

Garza lost to Luke Bambridge in the QFs in Bradenton a couple of months ago while, as is clear from the above, Boggo's opponent lost to Kyle in the FQR today.

Really disappointing that neither James or Liam came through from their section. Luke was always up against it but well done to Kyle.

Boggo won the first set 6-4 and is currently 3-3 in the second.
