The defending champion here, Andy Murray OBE wink will play Ito or a qualifier in R2 and is then seeded to meet (8) Klizan in the QFs and (4) Dolgopolov or (5) Nishikori in the SFs, with (2) Raonic and (3) Simon the top seeds in the bottom half of the draw.

The qualifier is Millman, and he plays Ito second on court tomorrow. Presumably Andy's match against the winner will be Wednesday. I hope it's not at stupid o'clock as I can only watch on livestream, not record it and watch at a reasonable time.

Just got home in time to watch the last few games. I wasn't expecting an easy match (just as well!), despite Millman's ranking, as youngsters are often under-ranked until they get going - so few points are available in the early rounds of tournaments. Plus the Brisbane lad had 4 matches under his belt, and Andy hadn't played for a couple of months so he was bound to be ring-rusty.

I see Dimitrov toppled Raonic too.
